About

Buckstone Farm is a family-run sheep farm based in North Yorkshire. A 400-acre site, we have farmed here for 3 generations. 3 years ago, we found our love for alpacas following a weekend trip to the Lake District - after which I made it my goal to own some of these beautiful animals.

In 2018, I realised my dream and brought my first 3 alpacas (Gus, Sam and Geoff) home. These boys were quickly followed by our 4 beautiful cria (Armstrong, Amos, Axel and Oreo) and Buckstone Alpacas was established.

In 2021, after a huge demand, we decided to set up our business for alpaca treks and weddings or events on social media - allowing us to share our fluffy favourites with you!

We offer alpaca trekking on our farm, where you can admire the beautiful views and take advantage of some fantastic photo opportunities in the spectacular scenery. Additionally, if you fancy something a bit different for your wedding or event, you can even hire our beautiful boys to come and join you (please get in touch for details).

Our aim is to give our amazing, fluffy animals the best life and teach everyone that joins us on our treks all about the species and how to care for them. Trust me, you will leave understanding just how special they are!
